Master Slave

First rate smut! This collection of male dominant/female submissive stories are absolutely brilliant. Featuring some of the finest erotica authors working, from Simon Shepperd to Carol Queen, this collection fills a much needed void in erotic literature. It doesn't tell simply what happens, with a series of grunting noises and four-letter words. Each story seduces you while never letting you forget how very naughty you (and the characters) really are.

Advantages: Some of the stories are incredibly creative, ranging from a woman's erotic submission to a man she's never met (and likely never will), to a man's joy at introducing a long-term submissive to the pleasure of fisting. Many of the stories are shockingly romantic, bringing a sweet and human touch to brutal spankings and extreme sex.

Disadvantages: This book is not for the faint-of-heart. If you are not already a lover of BDSM, this is likely not the volume to convert you. The stories assume a certain degree of kinky sophistication. Should a reader lack that, the stories will seem strange at the least, and possibly grotesque.

But if the way to your heart is through twisted nipples, this book will leave you panting.

I read a lot of smut and I'm pretty particular as to what I like and don't like. This book absolutely blew me away. The Master side is as delicious as the Slave side. I made my husband read it and even he found a couple that he found arousing, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't really read smut. There truly is something for everyone.

Advantages: There is a variety of authors so you get to experience ideas that you might not have come up with yourself.

Disadvantages: Some of the stories are rather short so you don't get the set up or anticipation that might go with a longer story.

he “Master” stories are written from the point of view of the Master and opposite for the “slave” stories.

Morley introduces both sections and in his introduction it is stated that the dynamic in these pages is that of a male Master and a female slave.

he stories themselves are short ranging from 3-15 pages each. I found that the stories on the “Master” side were shorter than those on the “slave” side. There are a few overlaps of authors that have written something for each side of the book like the popular erotica author Alison Tyler. However there are many different authors which means that you will most likely find something to your liking.

here was plenty of different scenarios in the stories, employee/employer, renaissance fairs, orgies, among other things. I will say that I was a bit… surprised when i realized that the stories within were not necessarily stories about people in an M/s dynamic like I thought it would be due to the name. Nope. These are just kinky stories. Honestly, it was a bit disappointing at first, but once I realized it I quickly got over it considering that these truly are well written.

If I sat down to read it all, I think it would probably take around 2-2.5 hours. After all, there is a really wide selection of stories in here. I really enjoyed this book and expect that I will continue to enjoy it many times over.
