The intensity of their desire/lust is undeniably alluring. The aspect of surrendering control to a more powerful being (hypnotizing, "glammering," etc.) is also a huge turn-on. But also the taboos of necrophilia, living in the dark, and drinking blood are highly intriguing. Mostly, I believe we are drawn to the mixture of pleasure and pain in the vampires bite. And the implication of sharing one's essence with another being is a highly romantic concept. The sexual appeal of vampires is a mix of several vamp traits. They have a huge database of knowledge about the world that most historic books couldn't even begin to record. And a person who has loved and lost so many, would have to have developed a thick shell, but you know there is still a soft spot. The fun is in finding it and reaching out to that cold heart and infusing it with passion again. Because you know he has had many lifetimes to perfect his love-making skills. They have a scent so sweet and decadent like none other you have ever smelled. Their looks take your breath away, the coldness of their skin and their ability to not age making them the most beautiful creature anyone has ever encountered. Then there is the fact that even the daintiest of vampires like Alice Cullen who are the strongest of them all! If I had to pick one of my favorites it would be Emmett Cullen! He is strong, sexy and that crooked smile draws you in at first glance, his eyes are dark like coal and the way he rides on that Jeep sends shivers down my spine!
