Sex toys come in a variety of materials: plastic, glass, stainless steel, TPR (a silicone blend), and many others. But the fan favorite has to be silicone, and for several reasons. It’s soft and pliable, while still maintaining firmness. It has no smell to it and it won’t absorb any smells since it is nonporous. Also, being nonporous, it can be sterilized (more on that later) or simply cleaned with soap and water. Silicone is very durable and, with proper care, will last as long as you do. Silicone comes in many colors, whether you want to match your sheets, have something lifelike, or something undead-like. If your toy is anything but opaque, and the packaging says “silicone”, the manufacturer most likely means “silicone blend” (one exception is the Champlette Silver). Please note that silicone toys should not be used with silicone lube. Either use a water-based lube, or cover your toy with a condom. But first, a small section on how to sterilize your silicone toys.

Scenario One: you have a non-vibrating toy or a toy with a removable bullet and you are busy. Remove the bullet if your toy has one, place your toy(s) in the top rack of your dishwasher without soap, and turn on your dishwasher. The heat of the water is enough to sterilize your toy(s) so adding soap is just wasting soap.

Scenario Two: you have a non-vibrating toy or a toy with a removable bullet and you have a roommate. Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Remove the bullet if your toy has one and submerge your toy(s) for about 2-5 minutes. You now have Dildo Soup and your toys are sterile!

Scenario Three: you have a vibrating toy. Take 1 tablespoon of bleach and 10 tablespoons of water and combine them in a bowl. Dip a cloth or paper towel in the solution and wipe down your toys. You can also store a large batch of bleach solution so you don’t have to make one every time you want to clean your toys– just use a 1/4 cup instead of a tablespoon and store in a spray bottle. This solution can also clean other nonporous surfaces in your home. If the thought of bleach coming into contact with sensitive areas worries you, keep in mind you can always clean your toys with soap and water afterwards.

This week Katy is giving you an overview of how freaking cool the LELO brand is; they just came out with a new line called Insignia that are very sharp-looking! I thought I’d tell you about the LELO I own, and why I love it.

Like the ever-popular Lily, the Siri is one of LELO’s small, rechargeable clitoral stimulators. It’s a bit bigger than the the Lily and doesn’t have that C-shaped curve that made those toys great for male masturbation, but the larger size means there’s room for a larger motor, which means it’s more powerful. This particular toy is bowed out at the bottom so it has almost a ridge down the center to give you a good point of contact for clitoral stimulation.

Like all LELO toys, it’s not really water-resistant. I wasn’t looking for a shower-proof toy, but the directions say not to allow water to splash on the buttons, and that’s hard to do when you’re cleaning it. (Soap and hot water or a 10% bleach solution; don’t use alcohol!) This toy is made out of silicone so it feels really nice and soft, but that means you can’t use a silicone-based lubricant, only water-based like Pjur Med Repair Glide.

The Siri has the new buttons, like the Ina and Mona, which means there’s a separate button for (+) (-) (^) and (?). For those of you who discovered you would accidentally turn your Liv off by pushing the whole button down, the new design on these toys solves your problem. The Siri is a bit stronger than the Nea and Lily, and has a bit more of a “throbby” vibration like the Gigi, rather than the high-pitched vibration of those other little clitoral stimulators. It also has the full gamut of LELO vibration modes: 1. Constant (zzzzzz), 2. Slow Pulse (z z z z), 3. Fast Pulse (z z z z z), 4. Fast Throb (zzZZ zzZZ), 5. Slow Throb (zzzzZZZZ zzzzZZZZ), and 6) I don’t know what they call this mode but it reminds me of the music from the original Mario Bros dungeons. (Nerd, here.)

To continue with our specs: two hours of charging and the Siri is ready to go (the We-Vibe wants a full 24!) and lasted through two uses before I charged it again just to be safe, (I learned the hard way from the JimmyJane Form 2 that toys lose their charge slowly when sitting around in off mode) though LELO says you can get 4 hours of play time or 90 days of standby on one charge.

This toy is a little bit louder than some of the others; but “louder” compared to complete silence is still pretty darn quiet. I usually don’t mind hearing the vibration on my toys, but some days I want silence, and this one is close enough for me!

I’m somebody who really liked the aforementioned Form 2: good power, nice vibration modes, etc; but it’s a little finicky and I strongly believe I shouldn’t have to be gentle with my sex toys. The Siri is great; it has more than enough power for me, I really enjoy the throbbing vibration modes, and it’s small enough to use during intercourse in certain positions. So far it has been used effectively in a spooning position and also in doggy-style but is too bulky for missionary or the way I like girl-on-top.

After having worked at Fascinations for a while, I finally bought a We-Vibe II a few weeks ago. I tried it, liked it, and– with Christmas coming up– decided to write a review on it.

First, the basics. The We-Vibe is the original and one of the only toys on the market designed to be worn internally while having sex. It is rechargeable, so you never have to find batteries for it, and with no exposed outlets, it is safe to use in the shower. The We-Vibe II also has a one-year warranty so if there are any defects, it can be replaced. It is made of medical-grade silicone which makes it easy to clean and even sterilizable. Be sure to use a water-based lube with the We-Vibe II; there are two reasons for this. First, you will need to use a lubricant with the toy since it will chafe without lube. Second, since the toy is silicone, pick a water-based lube (like Pink Water) that won’t break down the material.

The We-Vibe II is U-shaped with a slim end and a larger end. The slim end is worn internally to stimulate the g-spot while the larger end rests on the clitoris. The larger end contains the charging port as well as the button to turn it on and control the functions. It has nine different settings: Low Speed, High Speed, Throb, Wave, Pulse, Ramp, Tease, Ascending, and Cha-Cha. Simply press the button to turn it on and press it each time you want a different sensation. To turn off, you can cycle through the settings or press and hold the button for three seconds. The directions say to charge the toy for 24 hours, but I feel it only needs about 6-8 hours of charge time. There will be a divot where you pierce the material with the charger.

Ok, now the fun stuff. Using the We-Vibe II is very nice. The combined clitoral and g-spot stimulations are quite interesting. Even if you have used a rabbit-style vibrator, this is a very unique feeling– especially with an added phallus! I didn’t need to use nearly as much lube as I thought I would since the slim end doesn’t take up much room at all. My boyfriend REALLY likes using the We-Vibe II because he says it feels like I am the one vibrating, not the toy! And don’t worry, the toy will not pop out when it is in use. However, when changing positions the toy can pop out– mostly because you are aroused and accommodating at this point, you are lubed up, and gravity is in the mix. To avoid having the We-Vibe II pop out while changing positions, simply hold the external end to your body. And if it does pop out, just have a laugh and move on.

The We-Vibe II is wonderful for intercourse, but it can be used for even more! Masturbation is the most obvious alternative way to use the toy. For her, it’s quite simple: pop in a salacious movie, put the We-Vibe II in, find a setting you like, and enjoy. I do have some tips for using the We-Vibe II:

-If you are used to a weapons-grade toy like the Hitachi Magic Wand, the We-Vibe II may not be strong enough to get you to orgasm. It still makes a fantastic foreplay toy. If you are not used to using toys during sex, Low Speed may be all you need.

-Start with the Low Speed anyway– if you start with High Speed, you have nowhere to go but lower.

-If you like to change the settings on a toy you are using, try not to get lube on the outside part of the toy. If there is lube on the button, it is extremely hard to press down and change the setting.

-Do not use your fingernail to change the setting. This can pierce the silicone.

-When inserting the charger, don’t point up, just go in straight.

So there you have it. I feel the We-Vibe II is a worthy investment– and a fantastic Christmas gift! And we will be getting the We-Vibe II in two new colors: teal and ruby!

I was drawn to this toy, the Japanese G-Spot Squirmy, because I was looking for clitoral and internal stimulation and really liked the way the internal part of this toy rotated. I also really liked the many soft ticklers on the clitoral stimulator, as well as the amount of power that it had. I wasn’t looking for a toy that had a really large penis-shaped insert-able part, and this one seemed like it would be just right for me. A silicone toy at that price range is also a great deal! Most “rabbit” toys run over $100.

However, I learned when I got home that the toy rotates too loudly for me. The awful whirring sound is extremely distracting and I could not use the toy for more than a few minutes before giving up completely. I gave the toy a second chance about a week later and still was so distracted by the noise (even with music on) that it has since been retired.

I also have strong kegel muscles (the ones you use to stop the flow of urine mid-stream; also they’re fun to squeeze your lover’s penis with when he’s inside of you) and am capable of stopping this toy’s rotation in its tracks, even on the highest speed, which defeats the point. Sadly, this toy really didn’t work for me. I really did like the clitoral stimulation part, though!

If I were to buy another “rabbit” toy in the future, I think I would go for the Couture Collection’s Rhythm model because it has the rotation that I am interested in, and is still a 100% silicone toy. This also takes 3AA batteries instead of the Japanese G-Spot Squirmy’s 3AAA, so it has more power, and it rotates more up at the tip, which is farther inside and therefore hopefully safe from the strong muscle contractions closer to the entrance of the vagina.

So now let’s talk lubricants with this toy. Go with a water -based lubricant. Anyway, cleaning your toy is important because you want it to last long, so please keep toy cleaner in mind. I personally think it’s the easiest and best way to clean it. Another thing to think about is where you should store them. I personally like to put mine in a silk satchel, or like its own drawer, like a toy box. It keeps your toy safe; you never want to store silicone toys together because they will actually melt together and form and one.

So the next amazing thing about the Form 2 is that it comes with an amazing three-year warranty. Now you don’t usually see warranties on sex toys, so that definitely made me think about it. Warranties are great, especially when there always breaking after weeks.

So all around this toy couldn’t be any more perfect. It’s waterproof, rechargeable, comes with a three year warranty, it is medical grade silicone, so it is definitely body safe, it also has two high power motors and it comes in black and pink. The vibrating velvet harness is great for any beginner to intermediate wearer. The package includes a vibrating bullet, a harness, and three sizes of 0- rings, 1.5”, 1.75”, and 2”. This is great for the simple fact that you can choose your perfect piece. Any dong or dildo with a base will sit perfectly in the harness. I suggest pairing with a silicone dildo. After working at Fascinations for a few weeks, I decided it was time to take the plunge and purchase a higher priced sex toy for my fiancée and myself. After listening to my fellow employees opinions, I decided to go with the We-vibe 2. I had seen them sell like wildfire, so we picked up the We Vibe while out shopping. We had to wait till later that night to try it out as we were having guests over for a BBQ. My fiancée was showing it off to every female guest at the party.

Well, I have to admit we were a little let down by the We Vibe 2. We played with it for some time, but just couldn’t seem to get it to the right spots. There came a point where it was just frustrating to both of us and we abandoned it. After some online research and talking to a few people, we found out that the We Vibe doesn’t work (fit) so well for females of certain stature.

One of the main problems was that the clitoral arm was too long and was actually missing its target. My fiancée is not a internally stimulated person, so the inside arm was kind of distracting for her. We tried it a second time and found better results by changing positions. Again, the different internal stimulation was distracting for both of us.

My recommendation for the We Vibe is that its not meant for smaller ladies. I would also make sure that she is familiar with her inner workings (knows how to hit her own G spot). I was somebody who always thought that my ass had no place in sex, except possibly as something to grab onto for leverage. When I started thinking differently after a partner rubbed one of his fingers over the sensitive nerves of the pucker during the aforementioned using-my-butt-as-leverage during sex, I had to put in some effort to getting over my squeamishness. These anal beads have a lot of things going for it: first, it’s 100% medical grade silicone. I will never buy an anal toy that isn’t pure silicone for many reasons, the main being cleanliness. Silicone is significantly less porous than other toy materials, so there are fewer places for bacteria to hide, and silicone can be completely sanitized, so you can transfer the toy from person to person or anus to vagina without the risk of transferring bacteria or disease. If you’re using a jelly toy, think of your anal passage as you would of Las Vegas: what happens in the butt stays in the butt.

The other thing I prefer about silicone is the texture of the material. It’s firm but soft, so it will conform to your body’s shape without discomfort. The silicone of the Ophoria beads is also a matte finish rather than glossy, which I think slides more smoothly against the skin.

The other fantastic thing about the Ophoria beads is the unique shape. Almost all anal beads work the same way: there is a small bead, followed by a space, followed by a slightly larger bead, followed by a space, and so on. This graduation is great because your body has time to become accustomed to the size and presence of each bead before it needs to stretch to accommodate the next, and with that space between each bead, it’s possible to only insert the toy partly. These beads were my first anal toy, so the first time I used them, I didn’t fully insert the toy; I think I left the final 2 beads outside of my body because I was already feeling enough fullness. These beads also glide into and out of the body very smoothly, so you can slide one bead in and out to mimic the sensation of sex.

Just be aware that because the beads are silicone, they’re a little floppier than some of the more rigid jelly toys. This means if you’re trying to insert bead number three, you won’t be able to do it if you’re holding the toy by the very end. You have to grasp the toy much closer to the bead, and sometimes you have to hold it in the space after the bead you’re trying to insert, which means your fingers will touch the outside of the anus. If you’re looking for a toy to explore anal without having to actually touch that area, you should get a butt plug instead.

I paired this toy with Frolic Lubricant by Empowered Products (This one is a member of the Pink line of lubes.) because it’s a water-based lube and therefore safe to use with a silicone toy without fear of toy-melting. It’s also a much thicker water-based lube than most of the others, which I think is key when it comes to anal play. This lube can be applied to the first two or three beads of the toy and it will push inside with the toy to lubricate the anus as well as spread all the way down the toy as you insert it. Unlike the runnier lubes, it stays where you put it and it won’t succumb to gravity and end up dripping all over your sheets. It is also longer-lasting than the runnier lubes because it’s so thick, so it doesn’t dry out as quickly as a lot of the others, thankfully limiting reapplication.

Leo sizes in at seven inches of length and one and one half inches around. Its length makes it one of the longer toys made by Vixen.

Leo can be used hands free (with the suction cup), with a partner (with the use of a harness), or alone (the base is comfortable enough to hold while in use even for arthritic people).

Even though this toy does not vibrate (since it is perfectly ergonomic), I would have to give this toy Leo purple marble dildo by Vixen a five out of five rating. This toy was a pleasure to play with.

Jimmy Jane Form 2 Vibrator

JimmyJane’s Form 2 clitoral stimulator has something amazing that other toys don’t: it’s shaped like an anime rabbit and has TWO vibrating bullets, one in each ear, which are controlled separately. The great thing about this shape is it means you can use the toy so the ears are snuggled around the sides of the clit, providing powerful (and I mean powerful; these motors pack a punch) vibration to the sensitive legs of the clitoris, hidden under a lot of tissue and not often stimulated by other toys. Most toys and people’s masturbation techniques focus on the clitoral hood and the tip of the clitoris as it pokes out during arousal, but it’s all too easy to overstimulate the clit with strong vibration and cause it to become quickly desensitized. We’ve all experienced that, turning a toy up and up to its highest speed, chasing an orgasm that becomes more and more difficult as our clits become overwhelmed by the vibration and shut down. Not so with the Form 2. This toy is also made from high-quality silicone (Easy to clean! Lasts forever!) and is rechargeable, and sits really nicely on its little charging dock at my bedside. It even tells me via blinking lights how much of a charge it has when I take it off the dock.

The Form 2 has buttons that are extremely easy to use: plus turns the toy on and up, minus turns it down and off, and the function button changes the pulsation mode. Form 2 also has a memory, so if there’s a pulsation mode that you love, it will still be set to that mode the next time you turn on your toy. My favorite mode was the one where the vibration travels from ear to ear, providing wonderful, orgasm-inducing pleasure as each side of the clit is treated to alternately-pulsing sensation. However, and this is the only complaint I have about this toy, on this amazingly spectacular pulsation mode, sometimes the motors seize up and fail to vibrate for a moment if you put too much pressure on that ear. Being somebody who tends to press against the toy more firmly as I approach orgasm, the motors tend to seize up on me at very inopportune, frustrating times. I would love to have the option to change the mode back to a constant vibration with a single push of a button, like Lelo or Fun Factory toys allow, so that as your favorite mode brings you close to orgasm, you can turn it back to the constant-vibration “Please!” function for the last few moments push you over that edge.

All in all, the Form 2 has spectacular power, a great shape, and the added bonus of being a rechargeable toy. I just wish the motors weren’t quite so finicky. Maybe the next advance in technology can fix this issue, but until then, I think the Form 2 is an investment worth making anyway.

The sleek, sophisticated and discrete designs of this wireless bullet (the Vida Urja) aren’t the only features that make it so appealing. The small, uniquely designed bullet is waterproof, which gives peace of mind when used internally, or when cleaning. However, what this bullet has over all the other bullets on the market is that the vibrating bullet is completely rechargeable; and if you think that’s cool, wait till you try it. There isn’t anything else out there like it!

This little bullet is a lot more than it seems, and has a powerful vibe despite its small size. I definitely wouldn’t recommend wearing this bullet to a quiet dinner, and though it’s far less noisy than most bullets, even when used internally it sounds like your cell phone maybe on the fritz, making it less than ideal for public play. Now, while the range promises twenty feet, we found it works more accurately at a closer distance; and that the single push button takes a while to get used to. The button is a little loud, and the response time slow. It also would have been convenient if there was a kill switch, especially in those situations when we needed it off fast! Regardless of its minor flaws, my fiance and I adore this bullet, and use it often, which gives us more than a few reasons to smile now.

Affordable, exotic, and fun, this little bullet should be in every one’s menagerie of intimate accessories. Some fun places to visit with this fabulous toy include: New Age Shops (while belly dancing classes are held), Grocery Stores, Malls, Bookstores (There’s usually some music being played loud enough so no one hears it) and on roller coasters. I love me some Layaspot. This adorable little clitoral vibrator from Fun Factory is one of the cutest and most diversely usable clit vibes I’ve ever seen.

It comes in an array of colors, so you’re able to match it your bedroom, or the rest of your sex toys, and it’s small enough, cute enough and not-sex toy enough that it can hang out on your nightstand without a second glance.

Great for more than just the clitoris, the Layaspot makes a great purveyor of vibrator for nipples, the labia, the testicles, and of course, the perinium (you might know it as the “taint”). Use it all over your body, and your partner’s body, getting both of you turned on and ready and raring to go. Or perhaps you choose to just use it by yourself, enjoying the sensations washing over you.

It does take batteries, and I prefer my toys to be rechargable (most of Fun Factory’s new line up is!). Plus, I like some strong, weapons grade vibrations, like the Hitachi, so this one was a little too soft for what I prefer. However, lots of people (my partner included) like the softer vibrations of the Layaspot, because it is a great starter vibe, and has less intensity than some. Plus, it’s very non-intimidating, and fits between partners during intercourse, as one more fabulous use it has.

The Layaspot is made of Elastomed, not silicone. This means it is 100% body friendly and phthalate free, but it is NOT sterilizable, so please don’t share outside of your fluid-bound relationship, or use it on your anus, and then go back to the vulva/clit/etc. However, for everyday cleaning, soap and warm water should cut it. It’s compatible will all types of lube…and lube is what you should be using!

I liked the Layaspot a lot. Not quite enough power for me, but I know it’s perfect for the majority of people. Small, cute, unassuming and pretty affordable, how can you not love it?

I love the Fun Factory “Dinky Digger”!

Aside from being a fun toy to use, it’s also very easy to take care of. The Dinky Digger is made of medical grade body safe silicone, which is soft but not too soft. It is easy to clean (especially if you get toy cleaner which I highly recommend) and if you clean it regularly—like you should—your toy will look the same as it did the day you bought it. Because it is made with silicone, it doesn’t feel sticky after cleaning the way some soft toys can feel. Also, it doesn’t have that weird smell you get with cheaply made toys. The DD is in the shape of a mole holding a flower, which is kind of cute, but I don’t really like to think of the shape while I’m using it.

The battery holder can be a bit difficult to open. Instead of having a cap you would screw off, there is a circle on either side that you squeeze while you use your other hand to pull out the bottom. If you squeeze the points at just the right spot, it opens pretty easily. However, finding just the right spot can be difficult (sound familiar?) and you can spend a bit of time and strength trying to open it. That being said, it makes for an excellent seal and you don’t have to worry too much about damaging it while using it in the shower. It takes two AA batteries so it has a decent amount of power.

What I like about the levels of vibration is that it starts at a relatively low level and goes up to a high level of vibration. This is nice because I don’t numb myself when I first start to use it, but when I get warmed up, I have somewhere to go. The turn dial is very interesting; rather than not being able to turn it further when it reaches the highest speed, you can keep turning it and the speed decreases. Fortunately, you do feel a “click” when you reach the highest speed and when it is off. It is quieter than most toys with this level of vibration, but not as quiet as is advertised. Just keep in mind to use water based lube as silicone based lubes can damage toys that aren’t made of glass, metal, or plastic. Or, if you insist on using silicone based lube, put a condom on the toy to protect it.

Now for the fun stuff! The DD can be used for both internal and external stimulation. It’s not very large and it has a non-threatening look, so my boyfriend is happy to let me use it during sex. In fact, something fun to do is to let him use it on you internally while he goes down on you. The way the “nose” is angled makes the toy good for hitting the g-spot.

All in all, the DD is great for internal and external stimulation, fun to use alone or with a partner, and is easy to take care of. Two thumbs up, Fun Factory!

I like toys that recharge and don’t need batteries. I mean seriously, I hate it when they lose their juice at a very important moment, and then you have to rummage around your junk drawer looking for batteries, and then of course you don’t have the right size, and even if you do, then you have to worry about disposing of the used batteries later in a earth-friendly manner, and plus when you store your toys or travel, you’re supposed to the take the batteries out and it just turns into a whole bunch of drama that I do not want in my life. PHEW.

Solution? Lelo toys that are rechargeable. They hold their charge for hours, all of them use the same charger, so you only have to worry about having one available, and you never have to worry about batteries.

The newest toy on the Lelo line is the Ina, a rabbit style vibrator (aka dual stimulation toy) that is made of 100% medical grade silicone and is rechargeable. It comes in purple, orange or lime green, and comes with a satin bag for storage, which I appreciate…no one likes lint and cat hair on their toys.

What did we think of it? Well, I personally have never ever found a rabbit style vibe that I liked and worked for me, and let me tell you, I’ve tried literally dozens. The Ina, while awesome, didn’t work for me in the way it was designed. However, I did enjoy using the incredibly powerful motors (yes, it has two; one in each) on my clit, just as was.

But all was not lost. My partner does in fact love dual stimulation vibes, and she really really really liked this one. A LOT. In fact, despite all of the countless sex toys and vibrators we have, she put it at the top of her list of favorite toys. And that’s saying a lot.

It was easy to charge, I liked the buttons on this better than the ones on my Gigi, as these are quite a bit easier to use. I hope all new Lelo toys will be coming out with these button styles.

I also really liked the different vibration options on this. You could do the regular low, high, roller coaster style, etc options, but you can also go from one motor to the next alternating between the two. Lots of options (plus each one has multiple vibration levels) on this toy.

There are many things that can be said about finding the pleasure in hitting the P-spot for a man…the Aneros anal toy has the ability to give a very stimulating experience some of the time.

I had many different experiences with this toy, starting out with an exciting and powerful orgasm all the way to a very dull and boring or for lack of words, average experience. The down side to this toy may be as much with my own inexperience with an anal toy specifically trying to hit the p-spot as much as anything. Half of my different attempts and experiences with this item were lackluster and without a real charge in the end. On the other hand, when the toy hit the spot, there were several enjoyable feelings and wonderful times to be had.

The best experience was the feeling of warmth in my groin prior to ejaculation that I had not felt before in my life….how wonderful it was. One other experience was as the toy first went in; an erection was immediately forced upon me, as if someone had just pushed all the blood right through me into my penis….this was an interesting thing to have happen. I will admit that on the good experiences, my length of the orgasm was enhanced and lengthened in time, but I also was not sure what to expect from the experiences, thus I may not fully appreciate what happened.

My opinion of this toy was that my perineum did not get the stimulation or feeling that others describe from the messaging and comfort as the toy hits both the p-spot and the perineum at the same time. I understand my experience using the toy may have a lot to do with this, but my hope is that a toy can do the job consistently without being a master in the way to use it. I am hopeful to purchase and use other prostate toys that will give me a regular sense of enjoyment as this one did on a number of occasions.

In the end, I feel this toy is a great beginning toy for men wanting to find the pleasure of the prostate, therefore a wise choice to experimenting and finding pleasure can be had. I also feel that there will be and are so many other toys out on the market that will bring even more joy and satisfaction in the future….I just need to find them….

This is one of, if not THE best harness available out there. I mean, seriously, the Spareparts Joque two-strap harness is just brilliant. Pure brilliance. Why?

Let’s break it down.

Comfort. I like comfort, a lot. This is made out of material similar to swimsuits and diving suits, so it’s way comfier than some of the leather, vinyl or webbing based harnesses I’ve checked out over the years. Easy to Clean. Two words that can get me wet about almost any product of any kind: MACHINE WASHABLE. That’s right; you can get it on all you like in this sassy harness, and then just toss it in the wash. How brilliant is that? No more leather cleaner, or wiping down vinyl with bleach. Adjustable O-Ring. So you can use a smaller dildo to start out, and then work your way up to medium/large. I also love the addition of Spin the Bottle and Truth or Dare; feels very middle school party, but with of-age people and a lot more sex. Any scene Tina Horn is in also really got me going.

This is a great movie for either people looking for hot queer porn, or those who enjoy the more traditional “girl-on-girl” but want more sex-positive and hardcore action. I can’t really see anyone NOT enjoying the high octane action that keeps coming and coming in this film

Either way, they work great, and honestly, I can suggest these for anyone. I got my partner a set, my best friend a set…I’m even contemplating getting some for my mother…mother’s day IS coming up.

Metal is one of those materials that has revolutionized sex toys in the past few years, and this Alumina Revolve (by Tantus) is one of those items.

Made of of aluminum (a phthalate free, hypo allergenic, body-safe material), this toy is heavier than silicone, lighter than steel, and absolutely perfect. Not only is it easy to clean with soap and warm water, but it can be sterilized by boiling it 3-5 minutes, putting it on the top shelf of the dishwasher and running it, or wiping it down with a 10% bleach solution. I love things that are easy to clean.

It’s also great for temperature play! While you should never actual freeze, microwave or boil a material like glass/metal/ceramic before use (getting frostbite or burns down there doesn’t seem like much fun to me), you can place your toy in a bowl of ice water or hot water to cause it to change temperature. Another thing that is really cool about the Alumina line from Tantus is that the pieces screw apart in the middle, so that if you get different shaped toys, you can kind of create your own toy monster, exactly how you like it. Sounds a bit like perverted tinker toys, yes, but that’s what I love about it.

I love this toy; I’ve used it with both water based and silicone based lubes, and both work just swimmingly. The smoothness of this toy feels absolutely astounding inside, and because it’s a harder material, it provides excellent G-spot stimulation. Just be forewarned; if you’re ejaculator, time to put down some towels, because Old Faithful may erupt. It works great as a penetrative toy, especially paired either with a favorite vibrator, or a partner’s tongue on the clit. (Because it doesn’t have a flanged base, it should NOT be used for butt play!)

The cons of this toy? I’m hard pressed to find any. Oh! Here’s one; if you like bigger toys (as in thicker — this one is plenty long), you might feel a little disappointed in it because it is relatively skinny. I think, personally, that the awesome material and shape make up for it, but it’s worth putting that out there. Also, if you let your hands get too lube-y, it can be hard to grip the toy, as it really is incredibly smooth. Solution? The Echo, like all Tantus dildos, is made from 100% medical grade silicone, which means it’s phthalate free. My partner and I really like this toy. Neither of us use silicone dildos often, as we prefer metal and wood toys more. However, this one really did it for both off us, and she especially loves it. It’s great because it has the almost built in twist motion; when you’re using it on someone else, you can turn it manually for a little extra pizazz. It’s fabulous in a harness too, although, like with all toys in a harness, you lose some length.

This is definitely a great beginner toy; it’s a decent size, but it’s not too small. Granted, if you’re a size queen, this probably isn’t going to please you, but otherwise, it’s one of those toys that I think just about everyone will come (no pun intended) to love. However, if you’d like a G-spot toy, this probably isn’t the one for you, and you should check out some other items within the Tantus collection.

Nomi Tang is the creator, and has really invoked some interesting features on this toy. It has a regular on/off switch, but instead of buttons to change the functions, it has a touch controlled slider interface, where you can rub the slider to increase or decrease the amount of vibration, also a Nomi Tang logo where you can tap it to change the functions. Best part (in my book) is that you can then LOCK the type of function and level, so that you don’t have any of those “oops, sorry you were on the edge of orgasm and I just changed the sensation that you were enjoying” moments.

It’s also very ergonomically friendly – it fits perfectly down between your lips, and can either be used during some much needed alone time, or along side with a partner. If you are using it with another person or toy, please note that it is difficult to ALSO have an insertable while using the BTC, whether penis, fingers or dildo. However, if you’re into anal play, you could definitely have a butt plug or cock inside you while using the vibe on your clit.

The AAA batteries actually provide a lot more vibrations than I had expected, and both my partner and I loved the sensation. I personally found it a little too mild for my own tastes, but she has put it on her favorite vibrator list (and having tried more than fifty with me, that’s a big deal). I know it’s a good vibe when it finds its way into our nightstand, rather than the toy chest.
